Had never seen that look of terror in her face
Is a significant part of our human race
Thought I’d seen it all until that fateful day
When all previous thoughts were blown away
Who can prepare us for that kind of pain
Nothing seen or touched, not even a stain
Whether clothed in the shower or caught out by the rain
Nothing will ever fit or be the same again
No woman should feel this, no woman should cry
No woman should see a child of hers die
Nature’s in breakdown, reversing it’s chosen path
About to feel the forcies of humanities wrath
Seems to be happening more often these days
Women around the world walking in a daze
Switch on the TV thanks to the satellites in the sky
The visuality in front of us, just doesn’t lie
Natural or not the feelings still the same
Women outside of captivity, life sentence of pain
No need of a judge at the scene of this crime
Just solitary confinement through the passage of time
Well life goes on and time will take it’s course
But nothing that’s said will overcome the remorse
Humanities crime switching channels and sighing at rain
But no woman faced with this will ever be the same again
