Looking back over all these years
People come and go
Walking back in innocence
Just going with the flow
Ena, Beth, Margaret, all have wanted to love
The feeling of being a teen walking along the road
Nothing could harm us, we were all so brave
Until that fateful morning when screams made us scared
All seemed so perfect, blossoming in life
Blue skies above us, breakfast downed inside
Waiting for that bus, just outside the gates
Taking us all to a place where destiny awaits
How did we feel that day knowing that outside
One of our friends was fighting for his life
After the impact all we heard were screams
Damaged forever never out his teens
A crossroads in life, we all had to pass
Moving later to that place could have been so hard
But we all grew stronger shapes of lives to come
Smiles, happiness, anger, emotions to overcome
Reflecting back, on those distant years
Did we ever consider if we had any fears
Life was oh so simple, just years to pass
Wish we could return there never eighteen to pass
