In a place so famous for horses, going round a racecourse
A different horsepower was a passion for him, motor bikes of course

An historical place, with market town status
A nearby airport within easy access
The Flying Scotsman built in this place
Paddington Bear created with such a lovely face

A football team the Rovers, sadly relegated to League 2
A new management, maybe One Direction required if not Louis then who
Relegation brings heartache and certainly no cheer
Guess he would have taken solace with several Carling beers

A man with many interests and very varied too
Music gigs, motor racing and motor GP to name a few
Relaxing in his Doncaster club having a drink with his mates
Or out with My Girl Ang, Facebook pics to take

With his colourful green fingers, to his allotment he would go
Giving himself lots of scope to decide what he would grow
Within the towns famous markets an opportunity to supply
Some of which were under roof, so could always stay dry

Will be a miss to all that knew him, friends, family and workmates alike
Still had a full life ahead, cut short, no more trips on his bike
Gone but not forgotten, people will talk about him as if he’s here
