Neon lights are flashing, smoke transcends the air
Alfresco dining, waiters everywhere
An army of people descending to this place
Met by the sight of people saying prayers
A party place for everyone from near and far away
A variety of colours that brighten up the day
An oasis from the desert swirling dancers with their hoops
If you’re lucky you’ll spot a camel or hear some horses hooves
If you ride across the desert forget the camels back
More likely to be a Toyota pick up with no Arab strap
You’ll hear your echo sounding, it will be so near
Then drowned out by an engines noise, hitting you from the rear
The fun and excitement overcomes the change
Wearing the headress makes you feel the same
Seeing those people living for the day
Their tents will be their home again, not just for us to play
I’ve been to many places, heard lots of charm
I can’t remember anywhere that feels quite like Sharm
People falling over to help you with your stay
The sun and sand of coral that make up all the bays
