Lying under this intense interrogation, sunrays directed at you
Words and thoughts revolving inside your head, thankfully most are true
Trying to balance out what you’re confronting, isn’t as easy as it seems
Constant interruptions delaying the process of understanding what it means
Mystical mysterious girl just seems endlessly floating by
Not without friends or companions, but just exposing an endless sigh
Just seems to be alone in her thoughts revolving around her head
Wanting to break the never ending cycle of something she once said
Stick thinned gorgeous woman, thinks she’s never looked so good
Brings endless trays to the table, why have none of them any food
What kind of thoughts does she have revolving around her head
Can it be so simple that it’s the benefit of a loaf of bread
Well read man with such an upright poise
Even with toes tapping does he understand the noise
What kind of thoughts are revolving around his head
Perhaps the literary meaning of all he has read
Retreating from the shoreline brings a sense of relief
But with it you leave people who are painfully in disbelief
Brings thoughts of many years ago revolving around our head
Of those war time anguished soldiers left behind for dead
Several groups of people sitting encircled with a drink
Regaling stories of earlier events I think
But inside what kind of thoughts are revolving around their heads
Wish we would all stop thinking and let’s get off to bed
